“We’re beyond excited to be part of one

of London’s most iconic locations,” say

Boom founders Hilary and Robert Rowland

(pictured below left). “The vision that has

been set out by the team at Battersea

Power Station will ensure an incredible

place to work, live, visit and socialise.”

Ben Wright and Robin Hancock,

co-owners of Wright Brothers (pictured

below far right), are also delighted with

the new premises:

“We’re thrilled to be opening a new

restaurant right next to the iconic Grade

II-listed Battersea Power Station. We’re

very proud that our wholesale business

now supplies over 250 top restaurants

with seafood, and to open our fifth

restaurant south of the river.”

The new Village Hall will host both large

and small events. Residents and visitors

at Circus West will also have a ringside

seat for the restoration of Battersea

Power Station itself, due to be complete

in 2020.

In 2016, technology giant Apple

confirmed that the iconic power station

will house its new London campus in

2021. The firm will become the largest

office tenant at the former electricity

generator, with 1,400 staff across six

floors in the central boiler house.

The successful regeneration of Battersea

Power Station will create 20,000 new

jobs, inject £20bn into the UK economy

and help to fund the Northern Line

extension, the first new Underground line

since the Millennium.
