Virgin StartUp provides Start Up Loans of £500-£25,000 as a

delivery partner of the government-backed Start Up Loans scheme.

Since inception, Virgin StartUp has provided over 50 loans to local

Wandsworth entrepreneurs, worth £1.1m.

Loans are available to anyone over the age of 18 who wants to start a

new business, or grow a business that has been trading for less than

two years. Loan recipients must also be a citizen of the EU, or have a

valid UK visa. The interest rate on the loan is fixed at 6% nominal, with

typical repayment periods of between 12 and 60 months.

Loans are supported with free workshops, 1-1 business advice

and mentoring.
